Brett Yungmann has been part of the Crossroads family for more than ten years and is thrilled to begin this new chapter as our Director of Family Discipleship. After spending more than a decade as an educator and coach, Brett is excited to follow God’s call into full-time ministry, investing in children, students, and families at Crossroads.

Brett and his wife, Kaite, love doing ministry together. Kaite serves in a multitude of areas at Crossroads, and together they are raising their three daughters—Charlotte, Nora, and Claire. As a family, they are passionate about building relationships, opening their home to others, and helping people feel welcomed and connected.

Before joining the Crossroads staff, Brett taught 8th-grade math at Patrick Henry and coached basketball, golf, and baseball, including serving for many years as the head baseball coach. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or at church, Brett has always loved encouraging young people, building strong relationships, and helping others discover the gifts God has given them.

Over the years, Brett has served in many different ways at Crossroads, including teaching youth classes, leading marriage ministry groups, and leading men’s groups. He and Kaite have also enjoyed hosting multiple Basque exchange students from Spain, a ministry that has become a special part of their family’s story.

As Director of Family Discipleship, Brett is passionate about partnering with parents and equipping volunteers to help the next generation know and follow Jesus. His desire is for every child, student, and family to experience the love of Christ, build meaningful relationships, and find a place where they truly belong. He is excited to see how God will continue to grow and strengthen families through the ministry of Crossroads.
