At Crossroads Church, we see giving as a step of faith and trust in God. While the New Testament doesn’t explicitly command tithing, it presents giving as proportional (1 Cor. 16:2) and percentage-based, with 10% indicated as a good place to start following traditions set in the Old Testament.
We’ve seen God’s abundant provision in our church, and we believe He will do the same in your life as you put Him first in your finances. In fact, this is the one area in Scripture where God invites us to test His faithfulness.

God gives us good things we don’t deserve and could never earn, like grace and forgiveness. He gave the ultimate gift, His son, for our sins. When you hear us talk about irrational generosity, that’s what we mean. God created you with a generous spirit. We want to help you embrace it by giving beyond your tithe with an offering to one of these causes.
LifeWise Academy, one of our valued ministry partners, provides Bible-based character education to public school students during school hours. Through its released time religious instruction model, LifeWise equips students to explore Scripture and build moral foundations. Operating in over 500 schools across 29 states, including here in Henry County, LifeWise impacts tens of thousands of students annually, helping shape the next generation with the Gospel.
New Life, also known as Hayat Jadida (in Arabic), is a Christ-centered, diverse family of Arabic and English-speaking followers of Jesus, offering a safe community where freedom in Christ is found. Led by Mark Clausing and Nashwan Saadoon, it seeks to unite Arabs and Americans through acts of mercy and truth, extending love to Arab refugees and sharing the gospel. Based in Toledo, Ohio, New Life is committed to spreading the light of Christ through hospitality, discipleship, and evangelism, valuing diverse unity and a shared commitment to loving God and all people.
Crossroads Church partners with the African Church Planting Initiative (ACPI) to spread the gospel and foster sustainable growth in rural Africa. Through ACPI’s 3-step process, we plant churches, establish businesses, and build resilient communities. Our partnership extends to New Life Church in Malawi and their Pastors Training Institute, equipping local leaders to lead and multiply the gospel. Together, we are transforming lives and communities with the hope of Jesus across Africa.
