Levi’s journey began at Archbold High School back in 2007. From there, he ventured to Taylor University, where he earned a degree in Biblical Literature and proudly graduated in 2011. Post-college, Levi traded his textbooks for tools, spending some time at a cabinet shop in Northwest Ohio, indulging his passion for woodworking and carpentry. But his true calling beckoned, leading him to a youth pastor role at Parkside Church in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also found love with his wife, Rachel.
Throughout his formative years, Crossroads Wauseon was there, offering guidance and support as Levi honed his pastoral skills. After a fruitful stint at Parkside, Levi seized the chance to return to Crossroads. He blazed a trail as the inaugural participant in Crossroad’s Leadership Development Residency program, paving the way for his current role as Napoleon Lead Pastor.
Levi’s thirst for knowledge led him to earn the FEC’s Certificate of Theology, further enriching his understanding of the faith. He then pursued his Master’s in Christian Thought from Bethel University, deepening his theological insights.
Now, Levi and Rachel, along with their lively crew—sons Clark and Graham, plus daughters Ellie and Maeve—call Napoleon, Ohio, home. Rachel juggles her roles as a devoted mom and part-time administrative assistant at CIG Financial in Archbold, Ohio.
When he’s not pastoring, you might catch Levi indulging in his horticulture hobby (gardening :), diving into fantasy worlds with novels like The Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and The Wingfeather Saga, or getting lost in a gripping spy thriller. Despite Ellie’s protestations that “Dad’s not really a singer guy!”, Levi also enjoys belting out a tune or kicking back with some movies and sitcoms.
On the weekends (excluding Sunday mornings!), you’ll likely find him out on the golf course, showing his huge love for the game. And let’s not forget his unwavering loyalty to the Green Bay Packers—win or lose, Levi’s cheering them on with passion.
Together, Levi and Rachel are committed to cultivating joy and friendship within their marriage, aiming to display the abundant life of Jesus to others and their kids. Through their marriage and family, they hope to show the world the love and joy of Jesus, helping the lost get found and the found live free.
