If you’ve ever felt like your spiritual life is “chafing”, like obedience feels heavy or your joy feels dry, you aren’t alone. This Sunday, we continue our training in The Residency by looking at the difference between the “Chaff” (driven by the wind) and the “Tree” (planted by the stream).
We will move past the guilt of “trying harder” to read the Bible and explore the Gospel reality of being transplanted by the Gardener. Come ready to trade your failing New Year’s Resolutions for a robust “Rule of Life” that actually works.

Winter weather is here (or so they say)! To ensure everyone stays safe, we want to remind you of how we handle Sunday morning changes. If the weather looks dicey, please check for updates in these three places:
- Facebook: Watch for a post on our main page.
- Website: Check the homepage for an alert banner.
- Text Message: Keep an eye on your phone for an official notification.
Sunday Schedule Adjustments:
Level 3 Snow Emergency: If our county issues a Level 3 emergency, all Sunday morning gatherings will be cancelled for the safety of our volunteers, staff and church body.
If we cancel the 9:00 AM gathering and we still hold our 11 AM gathering, please note that Kids Ministry will be limited to Nursery only (ages 0–3). For older children joining us in the service, we will have Quiet Busy Bags available to help them stay engaged!
💍 Invest in Your Relationship | Introducing Marriage Matters 💍
At Crossroads, we want to see every marriage thrive. We are excited to launch Marriage Matters, a quarterly ministry designed to help you and your spouse grow closer to each other and to Christ. Using the Grace Marriage curriculum, we’ll meet four times this year to protect and strengthen your union.
Save the Dates (8:00 am – 12:30 pm):

The $189 registration covers the entire year of sessions, your physical journals, and full access to the online curriculum. Please register by January 25th so we can have your materials ready! If the cost is a barrier, financial assistance is available, contact the church office for details.

Arabian Night with Hayat Jadida
Experience the ministry of Hayat Jadida and discover how God is moving through this work! Join us on Friday, February 13th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon. The evening will feature an authentic Arab meal, along with inspiring stories and updates on how you can partner with this ministry.

Come out for a fun evening of competition and community at the LifeWise Academy Trivia Night on February 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM! Hosted at Nap Naz, this event supports LifeWise Napoleon’s mission to provide free Bible education to over 600 local students every week.
Gather a team of 7–10 people and choose from three registration levels:

2026 Ohio Biblical Counseling Training Conference

- Track 2 (Intermediate): For those who have completed Track 1 and want to build upon those foundations with more detailed, specific training.
