Worship vs. Victimhood | John 12:1-8
Is your past defining your future? Our culture tells us that victimhood is a currency—a way to gain leverage, power, and moral superiority. But the unvarnished truth of the Gospel is that the “victim identity” is actually a prison that kills our joy. This week in Rhythms of Residency, we pivot from the mechanics of spiritual habits to walking directly in the footsteps of Jesus. Looking at a tense dinner party in John 12, we see two completely divergent paths: Judas’s path of entitlement, and Mary’s path of radical, extravagant worship. Discover how Jesus’s willingness to embrace suffering gives us the power to trade the prison of victimhood for true freedom.

Small Hands, Big Faith | 3rd & 4th Grade Teachers Needed
We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our CR Kids team and help lead our 3rd and 4th grade class on Sunday mornings! This is a pivotal age where students are beginning to own their faith and ask deeper questions about what it means to follow Jesus.
By stepping into the classroom, you aren’t just “babysitting”—you are helping to shape the next generation of the church. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just have a heart for kids, we provide all the curriculum and supplies you need to succeed.
The Details:
- When: Sunday mornings during our 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM gatherings.
- The Mission: Lead a simple lesson, facilitate small group activities, and build relationships with our students.
- Impact: You get to be a consistent, encouraging voice in a child’s spiritual journey!
If you’re interested in this act of Generous Service, please contact Lynne Hoffmire at lwhoffmire@gmail.com

☕ Join the Cafe Team!
We are in need of volunteers to bring food for our Sunday morning Cafe during both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM gatherings. Providing a light snack is a crucial way we help our church family connect and build community over food before we head into worship together.
Whether you enjoy sharing homemade (or store bought) baked goods or providing fresh fruit, your contribution helps create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. If you would like to volunteer to bring items for an upcoming Sunday, please reach out to Tiffany Benson (567) 694-9951 to get on the schedule!

🍕 Serve Our Senior High Students | Wednesday Night Meals 🍕
We are looking for individuals, families or ConnectGroups to join the team and sign up to bring meals to our Senior High Youth Group on Wednesday nights! This is a simple but powerful way to bless our 9th–12th grade students.
Many of our students are coming straight from sports practices or other school activities and don’t have time to grab dinner before they arrive. Providing a meal allows them to slow down and connect with one another over food before they jump into their lesson for the night.
The Details: 🥗
- Who: 30 hungry High school students.
- When: Wednesday nights by 6:30 pm during the school year.
- Impact: You’re providing the fuel they need to focus on growing in their walk with Jesus.
If you’re interested in this act of Generous Service, please contact the Brett Yungmann (419) 670-7350 to get on the schedule!

Food & Supply Drive for Hayat Jadida
We are hosting a drive to support Hayat Jadida, a Christ-centered, diverse family of believers in Toledo, Ohio. This community consists of both Arabic and English speakers who are dedicated to spreading the Light of Christ through acts of mercy and truth. We have the opportunity to partner with them by providing essential resources for their families.
Because there are specific dietary needs for the families we are supporting, we ask that you pick up a tag in the lobby this Sunday morning with the specific items you would like to donate.
How You Can Help:
- Pantry & Food Items: Please bring non-perishable food and pantry staples to the church kitchen.
- Cleaning Supplies: We are also collecting household cleaning items to help support these homes.
- Monetary Donations: If you would rather donate money to help supply perishable items (like eggs & butter), please drop your donation at the church office.
Please ensure all physical items are brought to the church kitchen no later than March 29th. Your generosity provides tangible relief and shares the freedom found in Christ with our neighbors.
