Exhausted from the Stage | Matthew 6:5-13

Have you ever felt like you’re living on a stage, constantly “on” and afraid to take off the mask? It’s draining to maintain a version of yourself for an audience. This week, we explore the only space in the universe where the performance stops: the secret place of prayer. Based on Matthew 6, we’re looking at how the Gospel transforms our prayer life, giving us the power to let go of bitterness and find true intimacy with a Father who is actually glad to see us. Come discover why you don’t pray to become a child of God—you pray because you already are one.

Join us on Sunday at 9AM  or 11AM.

Child Dedication

Join us on Sunday, March 15th, for a special time of child dedication during both of our morning gatherings.

This is a beautiful opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a home centered on Christ. As a church family, we will also commit to supporting these families on this incredible journey of faith.

If you are interested in having your child dedicated, please register by March 8th.

🎶 Easter Sunday | CR Kids are Singing! 🎶

We are so excited to announce that our CR Kids will be performing “Halle” by Phil Wickham on Easter Sunday during both of our morning gatherings! Your children only need to participate during the gathering your family typically attends.

While we will be practicing together in CR Kids leading up to Easter, we would love for you to help them prepare at home. It is a joyful, catchy song that we think you’ll find yourself singing right along with them! Playing it in the car or at home is a great way to equip them to lead us in worship with confidence.

🏠 Resource Spotlight | Parenting Adult Children 🏠

As our children grow into adulthood, our role as parents doesn’t end—it simply changes. If you’ve ever found yourself struggling to navigate the shift from “coach” to “mentor,” or if you’re finding it hard to bite your tongue when you see them making choices you wouldn’t choose, you aren’t alone.

We highly recommend watching this insightful message from Dr. Jim Burns: Learning Your New Role as the Parent of an Adult Child.

In this video, Jim shares five vital principles for “doing life” with adult children, including:

  • The “Unsolicited Advice” Rule: Why giving advice is often heard as criticism [04:12].
  • Enabling vs. Helping: How to land the “helicopter” so your children can become responsible adults [13:35].
  • Expanding the Relationship: How to stay close and be a “safe person” even when values are violated [18:55].
  • Finding Joy in the Empty Nest: Leaning into your own fresh experiences and building a legacy of faith with the next generation [24:12].

Whether your family is small, thriving, or feels a little broken right now, this resource will equip and empower you to lead with unconditional love and grace.

Please pray for safety on the road, for our leaders as they serve, and that hearts would be softened and lives transformed by the Holy Spirit during their time away.
