Psalm 112
The Psalms aren’t just ancient, dusty poetry meant only for the sanctuary; they are a profound source of practical wisdom written for the realities of everyday life. In this five-week series, Wise Words: Learning to Live from the Psalms, we will lean into the Wisdom and Lament Psalms to find boots-on-the-ground guidance for the universal struggles we all face. From managing our money and fighting the exhausting comparison trap, to processing our deepest grief, protecting the unity of our church, and learning how to neurologically quiet our anxious souls, these ancient texts offer a mirror to our modern lives. By anchoring these daily challenges in the timeless truths of Scripture, we will discover that true wisdom isn’t found in trying harder to control our lives, but in resting deeply in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday, we’re looking at what happens when our love of control overrides our trust in God. Through the lens of Philippians 4, a dark night in a garden, and three men thrown into a fiery furnace, we will discover how Jesus offers us a peace that transcends our circumstances. He might not always pull us out of the fire, but He always steps into the flames with us. Join us to find out how to let the Prince of Peace guard your heart.
Join us Sunday at 9AM or 11AM.

Changing seasons and our next step forward!
Following an invisible God is tough, but it’s awesome to catch a glimpse of His hand at work! God has surprised us with some exciting staff updates and a new season of discipleship at Crossroads.
We’re excited to announce the hire of Brett Yungmann to a new full time position as the Director of Family Discipleship!

Cannon Ball!!!!!!
Heyo! Mark your calendars for July 11th from 6pm -9 pm because we are heading to the Napoleon Public Pool for a Church Family Pool Day!
We talk a lot around here about the idea of making “fridge friends”—you know, the kind of people you’re so comfortable with that they can just walk into your house and grab a LaCroix out of the fridge without even asking. But here’s the thing: those deep, authentic relationships rarely happen just by sitting in rows on Sunday mornings.
Even if you don’t plan on swimming, come any ways for the fellowship!!! Sometimes, you just need to get out and recreate together! Taking the time to just hang out, play, and share some laughs outside of our normal routines is one of the absolute best ways to deepen our relationships and build real community.
So grab your swimsuits, pack the sunscreen, and get ready for an awesome afternoon.
Let us know how many of you are coming! The Pool needs a head count to ensure they have enough life guards and since neither Wes nor Levi know CPR… you’re gonna wanna help us have enough life guards on duty!!! Enter the number coming with you here in this form!

Happy 4th
Our young country celebrates 250 years this 4th and even with all our faults, we Americans have a lot to be thankful for. Namely, that we are afforded the freedom to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Church, that’s worth celebrating! Happy Fourth of July! Give thanks for God for the freedoms and abundance we enjoy in this country and remember:
20 …our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. – Philippians 3:20–21 (NIV)

See You Right (Luke 7) MBL Worship & Brennan Joseph
A friend of mine from high school texted me this past week. He serves at another great Church in the area (North Clinton Church in Wauseon) as one of their Elders, but catches our sermons occasionally as another source of gospel truth to help fuel his week.
In response to last week’s message here, he shared the “theme song” from their recent high school mission trip. It fits perfectly with what we heard from Philippians 4 and Luke 7 last week. And it’s a certified fresh, real banger of a worship anthem (That’s how kids these days say, “it’s a good song”)! I’ve had it on repeat ever since he shared it with me. Enjoy!!!! And You’re welcome!!!
Here’s the chorus and bridge:
I’ll pour out all my oil
I’ll wet your feet with tears
You’re the one we’re here for
All we want is you
The fragrance of our worship
Is filling up this room
You’re the one we’re here for
All we want is you
I might get a little messy tonight
I might dance or I might cry
I don’t care what I look like
Oh, I just wanna see you right
Fear of man will leave tonight
I’m letting go of all my pride
I’ll love you undignified
And make the Pharisee see you right

LifeWise Henry County: Get Involved!
LifeWise is a release-time religious education program that buses children (with parent permission) off school property during the day to learn about God, the Bible, and Christian character. We’ve partnered with them from the beginning because it perfectly aligns with our mission to help the lost get found and the found live free in Jesus!
We proudly support LifeWise across all of Henry County. Please pray over these two pressing needs and consider getting involved:
LW Napoleon Volunteer Need: 6th-grade volunteers needed for Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Contact Cathy Bressler at cathybressler@lifewise.org.
