Have you ever noticed how much we actually love a grueling challenge—like running a marathon or building a house—as long as we have the power to finish it? But when we run out of strength and work for a boss who is never satisfied, the grind becomes a miserable, soul-crushing prison. A lot of us treat the Christian life exactly like that: an exhausting rowboat. In this week’s message, “The Joy of the Grind,” we look at Paul’s heavy commands in Philippians 2 and discover the ultimate power source. Learn how to drop the oars, hoist the sails, and work out what God has already powerfully worked within.

Crossroads Playland
Crossroads Playland will be closed starting Monday, May 25, and will reopen on Monday, June 8. During these two weeks, our team is going to be hard at work transforming the entire church building into ancient Rome for VBS! Because of the major construction and decorations filling the building and hosting VBS the Playland will remain closed until VBS has wrapped up.
We appreciate your understanding as we prepare for an incredible, life-changing week for our community’s kids, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to the Playland on June 8!

Our Jr. and Sr. High youth groups wrapped up the school year with an absolute blast at our End-of-Year Bash! The energy was high, the laughs were loud, and our students had an incredible time celebrating all that God has done in their lives over the past year.

Family Sunday
We’re trying something new and exciting on Sunday, June 7! We are hosting our very first Family Sunday, a special morning where we’ll come together as one big church family to celebrate the incredible week we had at VBS. You’ll get to hear stories of how God moved and join in on the same high-energy worship the kids loved all week long.
For this Sunday, all students from Preschool (age 4) through 4th grade will be joining us in the worship centre for the entire service. We are so excited to have our kids worshiping right alongside their families! This also gives our amazing Kids Ministry volunteers—who serve so faithfully every week—a well-deserved chance to sit in the sanctuary, recharge, and worship with the rest of the congregation.
Just a heads-up: While the older kids are in the service with us, we will still have childcare available for our nursery-aged kiddos (ages 3 & under) during both gatherings. Grab the whole family and join us as we try out this new way of gathering together!
Child Dedication Sunday
As a special part of our Family Sunday celebration, we are hosting a Child Dedication! This is a beautiful moment for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered home and for us, as a church family, to commit to walking alongside you and supporting you.
Because the whole family will be together in the sanctuary that morning, we can’t think of a better time to celebrate the next generation! Whether you have a newborn or an older child you would like to dedicate, we would be honored to share this milestone with you.

🏛️ VBS 2026 | Sign-Up TODAY! 🏛️
We are just a few weeks away from stepping into the “underground church” for VBS, and we can’t wait to have you join us! From May 31 – June 4 (6:00–8:00 PM), we’ll be exploring ancient Rome with secret songs, marketplace snacks, and life-changing faith.
Don’t let a busy schedule keep you away—even if your kids can’t make it every single evening, we would still love to have them there for the nights they can attend! Registration is open for both kids and volunteers, and we are still looking for a few more friendly faces to join our volunteer team.
