Revelation 2 | What’s the Point?
When is the last time following Jesus cost you something you actually wanted to keep?
If we’re honest, it is incredibly easy to build a comfortable faith that doesn’t actually demand anything from us. And there is a specific reason we do it: When you lose sight of Jesus, following him costs more than you think he’s worth.
This Sunday, we’re looking at three groups of people who found three very different ways to play it safe. They wanted to have their cake and eat it too. One had all the right answers, but lost their heart. One kept the peace, but compromised the truth. And one was so desperate to be inclusive that they forgot what they actually stood for.
They all ended up with a faith that looked great on the outside, but missed the entire point. Join us this Sunday as we talk about the danger of a “nothing sandwich” Christianity, and what it looks like to get the real thing back.

Child Dedication | Sunday, October 4th
Children are a precious gift from God! Child Dedication is a special opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered home, inviting our church family to walk alongside them, encourage them, and pray for their family.
If you would like to dedicate your child during our gatherings on October 4th, we’d love to celebrate this milestone with you!

Moneywise | A 5-Week Biblical Finance Class
Are you looking to get on the right track with your finances, or simply want to learn more about managing your money well? Whether you are married, single, or engaged—and whether you are thriving financially or currently struggling—this class is for everyone.
Join us for a 5-week journey exploring biblical principles on stewardship, budgeting, generosity, debt, and saving. Our goal is to help you understand what the Bible says about money and to partner with you in practically applying it to your own unique situation.
What We’ll Cover:
- Week 1: Stewardship – Learn what it means to be a steward, managing possessions that ultimately belong to God.
- Week 2: Spending Plan – Living on a budget isn’t strictly required in the Bible, but we believe it is a very wise practice.
- Week 3: Generosity – Explore how our faith and heart posture toward God animate why, where, and how much we give.
- Week 4: Debt – While the Bible doesn’t prohibit the use of debt, it does offer strong warnings against it. We’ll discuss why limiting debt is the best path forward.
- Week 5: Saving – Discover the wisdom of saving for a reason and saving for a season.
The Details:
- When: Starts Sunday, October 18th from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM (during the first gathering). The class will meet at this time for 5 consecutive weeks.
- Cost: $25 (covers the price of your class workbook).
- How to Sign Up: You can fill out the sign-up sheet at the Connect Center this Sunday, or register electronically using the link below.
