John 20:24-31 | Training in the “Not Yet”
We live in an Amazon Prime world where we expect everything—including God—to show up in two days or less. But let’s be real: following Jesus rarely works on our timeline. Most of us are stuck in the “Not Yet,” that agonizing gap between a prayer and an answer.
This Sunday, we’re leaning into the story of Thomas. We usually call him “Doubting Thomas,” but he was really just a guy whose heart was protected by a thick wall of cynicism. We’re going to look at how Jesus handles our angry ultimatums and “word wrangling” without rolling His eyes or showing us the door. Whether you’re a “wonderer” or a straight-up cynic, join us as we discover how the Master meets us in our locked rooms and offers us His Word to turn our critical demands into total allegiance.

A huge thank you to all the parents and kiddos who made our Easter celebration so special this past Sunday! Seriously, there is nothing quite like seeing our worship centre filled with the energy and voices of the next generation worshipping our risen Savior.
Between the kids singing their hearts out and hearing their “expert” takes on the Easter story—like the angel rolling away the stone with just a finger or the sheer shock that Jesus was actually alive—our hearts are full. It’s such a blast watching them discover that the Gospel is the best news ever!
We’re so grateful for our Crossroads families and the chance to cheer these kids on as they grow in their faith. Let’s keep “spreading the word” just like they told us to!

Step into the adventure of the early “underground church” as we explore ancient Rome this summer! Registration is officially open for both kids and volunteers. Join us May 31st – June 4th from 6-8p for an incredible week of secret songs, marketplace snacks, and bold faith, concluding with our Closing Carnival on Thursday, June 4!
🛡️ For the Kids (Age 3–4th Grade): Enlist your children for a journey they’ll never forget as they evade the Empire and learn about the unstoppable love of God.
📜 For the Volunteers: The underground church needs leaders! Whether you want to lead a tribe of kids or help behind the scenes, we have a place for you in the “Resistance.”
