Philippians 1:12-26 | Winning Through Loss
We live in a culture obsessed with winning, but our version of “victory” is often incredibly fragile. We tend to think that being a conqueror means avoiding the hospital bed, the broken heart, or the stalled career. But what happens when the trial is simply stronger than you are? Suffering is never enjoyable, and we usually view it as a detour or a sign that things have gone wrong. But for the believer, a “chain” is often a deployment.
This Sunday, we look at the Apostle Paul’s “tactical briefing” from the floor of a Roman prison to explore the unbreakable stance of Defiant Joy. Paul shows us that a follower of Jesus doesn’t have to just “white-knuckle” their way through the pain; we are invited into a spiritual judo that uses the enemy’s momentum against him. Whether you are facing the loss of comfort, reputation, or even hope, join us to discover a “Win-Win” perspective based not on wishful thinking, but on the finished victory of a King who has already walked through the darkest valley.

Celebrating New Life in Christ through Baptism
What an incredible morning we had at Crossroads last Sunday! We are overjoyed to celebrate the 7 individuals who took the next step in their faith journey to publicly profess their faith and identify with Jesus Christ through baptism. Seeing our church family grow and witnessing these powerful stories of transformation is truly the highlight of our year.
Our celebration doesn’t end at the water’s edge. As a church family, we are committed to walking alongside these brothers and sisters, cheering them on and supporting them as they grow in their journey with the Lord. Let’s continue to pray for them and celebrate the amazing work God is doing in their lives!

Whether you’re coming from the first gathering or getting here early for the second, this is your time to refuel and relax in a low-key environment designed just for high schoolers. It’s a great way to meet new people and stay plugged into everything happening in our student ministry. We can’t wait to see you there and kick off the morning together!

Join us May 31st – June 4th from 6-8p for an incredible week of secret songs, marketplace snacks, and bold faith, concluding with our Closing Carnival on Thursday, June 4!
🛡️ For the Kids (Age 3–4th Grade): Enlist your children for a journey they’ll never forget as they evade the Empire and learn about the unstoppable love of God.
